I'll have 5 days a week where I'm not going to school and am looking at this venture as supplemental income just as my current RE holdings are.  

However, school will be over in December, the wedding will be done mid February, and after that I won't know what to do with myself.My main bare-bones goal in real estate investing is to supplement my retirement income.  

Things like that." with out writing a lengthy dissertation.If you're seriously considering investing in this area I think you need to do a lot of the general high-level research yourself, and then supplement it with more narrow, specific questions that we locals will be happy to answer.

The only supplemental thing I did was to call previous land lords for references.   

I know one realtor here in Texas who makes good supplemental income with just doing BPO's.

I currently own my own sports supplement business and personal train as well. i am getting married in june and have always wanted to invest into real estate. i am tired of trading time for money so starting next week i am only personal training from 530am to noon monday through friday and the rest of time i want to spend learning the game of real estate.

I think it would be very beneficial to go to college to learn a skill that supplements your real estate business (i.e. marketing, finance, accounting, management, etc).

Since I have to choose one type of platform/system and find alternate solutions for the features from the other side, I choose a STR platform because the LTR features are easier for me to recreate or do manually.Specifically we are using Hostfully as our PMP and a few other apps to supplement.

If so, find the best passive return possible and create some supplemental income. 

If you need additional income to supplement and have less net worth, cash flow properties for cheap might work the best but for someone who does not need additional income gambling with appreciation might turn out beneficial.
