Independently of all the wonderful claims the syndicator or turnkey seller makes.Lots of folks in real estate promote the notion that real estate is better than stocks because you have control over a real asset instead of just a share in a company where you have no control or visibility of the inner workings.  

After listening to several top wholesalers speak in person and on podcasts, it destroyed my notion that all sellers think like I/We do.

The gorilla in the room here is the notion of selling my apartment and unlocking a good chunk of capital to play with without worrying about lender's turning their nose up at my DTI.

The people who I'm calling "unconscious renters" will more likely be financially steady enough to pay rent on time for 10+ years, but are trapped by their own pre-conceived notions of money, spending, and life.
