I rented a home owned by a Real Estate outfit from Paso Robles (I knew their son, who also attend Cal Poly).

They can barely make what is required to rent the place let alone furnish and outfit it properly to succeed.

You can only dictate how long that process takes.I don’t know their outfit, but if you have been on BP for a while you know people aren’t shy to bash a company and it’s tough to find a lot of negative comments about service relative to their size.

Better to start out with a larger outfit or smaller one?

I assume your outfit is not big enough for this benefit.

We have a small studio condo outside of Harvard Square that we outfitted with many tiny home tricks and rent short term, hopefully in 3 month minimum stays.

The only recommendations I could think of to make your property stand out more (and these are pretty minor things) is to add a really nice coffee bar setup and to better outfit your kitchen.

Here in the Pittsburgh area, and I think I can safely assume throughout the urban cores of most of the Rust Belt, quite a few mom and pop outfits like ours think that it's possible to achieve rental-based financial freedom to the end of their lives in low-cost, high-cash-flowing single-family rentals.
