I wouldn't argue with you if you said mildly depressed. 

Although it is not as aesthetically pleasing as contrasting trim and or flat/eggshell walls, semi gloss is very easy to clean with a wet sponge (mild degreaser if necessary).  

I know of a few people in my neck of the woods who target FSBOs with mild to moderate success.  

I am mildly annoyed I did not think of this.
