I've read a couple of Brandon Turner's books now and have been getting really into the mindset to start this journey.A couple major items I'm initially thinking of is where to start.

#1 I don't know anything about billboards, but I have considered purchasing land a couple of times that had them already in place. 

There are separate entrances and exits.I’ve decided to design them pretty much identically, minus a couple decor and furniture items.

Also the Adelson family of Las Vegas Sands fame have purchased a couple of big parcels with hopes to build a giant casino/convention resort perhaps anchored by the arena for the Mavericks for which they also just purchased majority ownership from Mark Cuban. 

Most sponsors returned my initial message/email within a couple of days.

But in my mind that's your best case scenario, take your profit at the beginning, maybe buy a couple of the houses at a discount on the back end as rentals if it works out, but for sure I wouldn't want my profits for improving raw land tied to the final sale of the home unless I was incentivized to do so.  

I do have a few markets in mind that I’m interested in, including where I currently live and a couple of out-of-state spots that my partner and I love.

So I waited a couple months, and they reduced the price.
