For my money I'd look to find the best CPA/tax advisor possible and hope that they either know my state's rules OR have a network of skilled providers who they collaborate with who does. 

I enjoy private lending because it is collaborative, secured investment.

I’m building a team and systems in place for long-term investments in the North Alabama area, and potentially in select places in central and west Florida (I still have long term interests there).Short term, I will be concentrating on rental properties, and eventually would like to expand into commercial spaces.I’m definitely open to networking and collaborating.

We did not form a legal entity for the day to day collaboration, instead we leave the entity and business structure to be defined by each opportunity - typically an LLC.
