Super glad it worked out for you and @Shawn Faris, I would not look at it as a mistake that you made, it was an experience that has opened you up to learn something new and in the end, she reached out to apologize.I would hold onto that letter/email for your records.We all learn as we go and without some of these horrible experiences we would not learn something new.So as horrible as the experience was, embrace it, learn from it, add an abandonment clause to your future leases and move on.Do not blame yourself for not seeing this coming.

@Heather Hall your title rep or customer service rep can pull all the recorded FHA and VA loans recorded 2020-2021 when rates were under 3% Be super careful with the VA's they are a protected class in 9 out of 10 cases and recent overturn in VA mods indicates those in trouble will end up in court.

@Wayne Lee When rates were super low 2 years ago, and prices hadn't totally spiked, many investors got lazy because almost they could buy anything on the MLS at asking price and cashflow as a rental.As prices went up, many investors started investing in STRs to get properties at asking price to cashflow.Now, many are chasing Class C properties to get them to cashflow at asking price.What consistencies do you see in all three of those scenarios?

I have rented one place on furnished finder and that turned out great, but the whole platform is not super user friendly and most of the listings are very poorly listed (terrible pictures or only a couple of pictures, description is 2 sentences, even saw one place that didn't even have shower curtains!).
