Government Jobs are big in the area, such as Teacher, nurses, police, correctional officers  etc.. also there is a lot of people working in agriculture which is also very big here.

The police here can make an arrest on a misdemeanor charge for non compliance, but they'd have to prove I wasn't heading to the hardware store, or one of my residences, or out for food or groceries.
