Do we need to contact a lawyer?

I'm in need of additional funds to pay off lawyer fees and my wife's interest in other properties. 

Do I need a lawyer? 

Once those guys are in place and you have a go-to title company that your realtor recommends and a lawyer.

I need to pay off my lawyer fees before all the houses sell and qualify for these properties.

@Dominique Osborn spent hours with them on the phone and provided receipts on numerous occasions but it's still showing as "not" paid.Anyway, is anyone on here a tax lawyer or can anyone recommend one?

Once they realized what happened they lawyered up  this was a extremely valuable property  we paid almost 200k for it in the early 80s which was a monster sum in those days for a tax sale.. the chances of this happening again are remote and like I said very few improved properties ever sell .. so unless your talking about putting a well and or septic on a property I would not worry about improving them.. or having the sale over turned etc. its the title companies that just dont want to take the risk on these for any any reason..

A few suggestions:Get a Job, Borrow from Parents/relatives, Get a partner for the deal, or (trigger warning: not PC)  renounce US citizenship, cross the border illegally, and get all the government money you need.  

You may want a lawyer to review the document she gave you to see if there’s anything wrong with it.
