For those interested the "Inland Empire Real Estate Investment Club" can be found on MeetUp.com and meets the 4th Wed every month from 6-9pm on Zoom and will be in-person soon from what I have heard, they also have other meetings throughout the month: Mentor Q&A Meeting (Zoom), RK Cashflow game night(San Bernardino) and Coffee meeting in person in Riverside by the Auto Mall. 

It might take a little while for me to get started being that I spend most of my free time planning my wedding for May, but I assure when I’m ready to kick things off you will be the first to know!

A friend of mine owns a wedding venue/equestrian ranch in middle florida, (South of Winterhaven) and is seeking to borrow against his property.

And that's exactly right  The cost to start one is so negligible that it shouldn't wed you to the process in the least.  

I currently live in Puerto Rico and we have a real estate club that meets tomorrow Weds at 6pm in Condado (REIA Rico). 

Some people travel for business, attend conventions, family events such as weddings and funerals, so don't limit your thinking to STR's are for vacations only.
