It's definitely a growing metro, with lots of good employers (Tinker AFB being the largest I believe, followed by the University of Oklahoma/all it's entities, Boeing, Hobby Lobby, Paycom, Sonic, tons of energy companies!)

In fact the lobbying to eliminate personal renewables is heavy.I understand this is frustrating but things aren't as clad in stone as most think.

I'd advise staying away from the larger complexes (anywhere will and elevator or a lobby), look for 2/3/4 unit properties. 

It is not my intention to form a group that will spend the whole time griping about the city/county, but I am also not against lobbying in favor of the benefits of investors (without us, there would be many people who would have no place to live). 

Folks quit using Motels with lobbies that hundreds march through each day for SFRs that only they stay at.
