Our Financing Contingency ended 5/6, so now we are out a $5k Earnest Money deposit (plus the appraisal, survey and inspection, $7500 total) and don't get this great deal unless we act fast.In short, we provided to income docs for my wife, but our current primary residence is in her name, so that didn't help the DTI much, and we ended up losing the deal.

I've got cash reserves and I've begun looking for another house to buy as my primary.I must say I'm very excited but also a little bit nervous to take this next step.Thanks to BP for being a wealth of inspiration up to this point and in the future.I've already paid for a membership at ezlandlord forms and have those documents in order.

Just want everyone's opinion if we should get any of the following inspections done before closing:1) soil sampling / testing2) Survey 3) Well Report (we will be using city water)4) Title, Zoning and Usageor anything else you might think of.We have bought houses in the past, but this if the first time we are buying land for a future build.
