There was some concerns about foundation and we the got an engineers report. 

Such as engineer, architect, permits etc. 

Doing this part time is absolutely doable and most of my team including myself work as an engineer during the day then invests and works with buyers and sellers on nights and weekends.

I talked to a structural engineer and he recommended removal of the roof and sheathing, correct or replace the trusses, and re-roof.

Is it required to be completed by a CPA or engineer only?

Hello,My name is Aaron and I am a software engineer in San Francisco and I'm looking to start my education and journey in real estate investing. 

I'm a mechanical engineer currently working full time in the utility industry.The more I read and learn, the more I'm realizing that my next move would be to invest passively to gain experience for future investments.

I did find out the outcome of the court action taken against the seller from the stuctural engineer on the project which was my personal friend.
