I currently live in WA state and invest out of state for buy and holds.

I live in Glastonbury and many of my clients are buying and selling in East Hartford and the surrounding areas.

If I were investing in eastern WA, or where my extended family lives in Pennsylvania, those 100k houses in good condition are a real thing there.

Just thank your deity that you don’t live in a rent controlled city/state.

They're investing tons of money into those areas, and attracting a lot of good renters who work in the medical profession and will pay good rents to live close to their jobs. 

I believe he now lives in Portugal.

Always do your due diligence folks, search for their name on here, check for criminal and civil court cases in the county they live/do business in, etc. 

I retired in my mid-50s and live a comfortable life, grateful every day for the path I chose.Looking back, I’m forever thankful to my partner who encouraged me to take that leap of faith and move to Ohio.
