As we all know those hedge fund guys jet between their trophy properties in Manhattan and Aspen. 

Regarding skiing... my wife and I, and some other friends are all headed to Don Pedro Lake for Memorial Day weekend to go water skiing, jet skiing, and wakeboarding.Anyway, as for "hot" markets that's really a relative question.

Regardless, it's still much better than spending $60M on parties, private islands, jets, etc.

You can fly your private jet right into Riverside airport and pick me up on your way to Maui. ;) 

I also separated the hydro on two meters, and charged hydro back to the tenants.Also, since I was on title for the property, Orillia allows owners to draw their own plans for permits, so I drew plans to scale.

I'm a GP myself and am pretty familiar with these documents.I'm sorry to say, as long as the syndicator used a reputable attorney to put the documents together, there is very little you can do and surplus funds are 99.9% chance going to the lender.The only path's I'm aware of would involve you proving the GP knowingly engaged in fraud (e.g: lied about something) OR they misappropriated funds (e.g: they bought a private jet with the money instead of real estate)Outside of those scenarios, my strong guess is no money will be recaptured.I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news here.

So my dream was to be an airline pilot.. started with flying lessons way back as a Senior in high school ( I was bagging groceries so I could pay for one lesson a week).. but this being the Post Vietnam Era the chance of getting hired on with out a very long process of flight instructing and so forth was something my limited patience just would not let me do.. airlines were hiring Jet jocks from the military us guys trying to work up it would take years.So my dad talked me into getting my real estate license.. so got that at 18.. started to try to sell.. it was very tough being so young.. but 60 days later and many tears from rejection ( see wholesalers ) I finally closed my first deal before I quit..
