New from Central Coast of CA

Hi!
I'm a relatively new investor from CA. My DH is a school teacher and we want to get out of that and make a comfortable living for ourselves through investing. We've looked into the Phoenix market and the Orlando market. We'd love any suggestions on what markets are hot!
I'm a stay at home mom with 2 little kids, 7 and 3. We are on the central coast of CA. We were fortunate to buy here 10 years ago, so we have lots of equity, but can't afford our own house anymore. We're looking for markets that are less expensive than our own area.
We love waterskiing! Any fellow skiiers out there???
Cary
