You are effecting, building and electrical disciplines at a minimum.  

@Kobe Xin I totally agree the first step in starting out one must have discipline and trained cerebral nuclei function motivation to take action.

I am fortunate to have a job that I love, that pays well enough for me to support my family + lifestyle all while being flexible enough for me to not be shackled to my position.I have a disciplined and structured mindset that I would like to use to focus on becoming financially educated and on to a sophisticated investor.I am looking for direction on how to obtain this.  

I am not committed to any one strategy and remain disciplined in my buying and selling criteria and that will never change.

IF - and it's definitely an IF - you are a disciplined person, pulling money from a 401K - this year in particular might be something to consider given that they have waived the 10% early withdrawal penalty.  

If you can do this, learn this discipline, guaranteed you WILL be wealthy and will be all but retired by 40.
