I was in Lowes, and they have a fairly reasonably priced Whirlpool coin-op washer drier set.  

We just moved into the HUD foreclosure that had been winterized.The home inspector did the inspection before the winterization and the whirlpool tub worked, now it is not working Any ideas on how to get it working again or do we need someone to come out and look at it? 

Whirlpool recently laid off a few hundred employees (never a good sign.)

I go in and tell them I want a W/D set from the same name brand (usually Whirlpool) in a model that they currently sell at Lowes or Home Depot.

I scored a $400 brand new whirlpool stainless range, and the best part was no sales tax!  

If the filter is in place make sure it's not blocked as I've found plastic left on them when some kid at the appliance store installed it.If it's a Bosch I've replaced 2 ice makers in the last 4 years on them & one on a Whirlpool BUT they were already 2-4 years old when they failed BUT all still had water flow at the door.As it's new it should be covered under the MFR warranty & usually your appliance repair people will be able to replace/repair it under that warranty.

Recommended brand: Whirlpool/Maytag/Ge3.

I like to go up a couple levels from the cheapest and I buy Whirlpool.
