I ended up paying 25K and they hauled out 120 thousand pounds of trash.

They are cheap because they are undesirable and will attract crappy tenants.

They are out of money or the banks are going to take control of the buildings and nothing is going to happen to them as they are getting their pound of flesh while the stakeholders are getting nothing.

Here's how they work: they advertise a low initial cost of $499 for a 30-yard dumpster, but in the fine print, it says you'll pay extra for any weight over 3000 pounds.As a first-time home renovator, I assumed the 3000 pounds would be more than enough and ended up paying a lot more than I expected.
