Basically, the more you ask for relief as a percentage of the total, the harder it will be.You will need to show a hardship that you did not create.

If you wanted to fund a portion of the down payment would you suggest a hard money lender, personal loan, etc.?

I have a bit of a soft spot for the area as a UF grad, and I still come back to the area every year or two.
