Is there a specific legal/liability reason why you separate your LLCs by "line of business"?

Im pretty well connected specifically to a group that has managed over 75 projects, $110M AUM and over 15 years in the industry.

the macro environment for long term rentals (and lots of other niches) is just about the worst it could possibly be right now for a new investor to pick a random market in a random state, and shell out $50K or more to get a random property, and then turn it over to random people you haven't met. and then, the HVAC goes, and your first tenant roughs the place up on their way out, and that $10K turnover eats up your "cash flow" for 12 years. and you are now sad.so, 1. don't give up on investing in state.

If you were to buy a house comparable to what you are renting, it would eat up that $1000/month you are currently saving.I would count your lucky stars for the cheap rent (my brother pays that much for a 1bed/1bath apartment in Long Beach) and use the savings to invest in another market.

I pose the question because I planned on getting a website that specifically catered towards sellers and thought it would be good to put that website address on the business card.
