It's not unusual, particularly if they're told they will be released soon.You can sign a contract electronically, by fax, in counterpart, etc while you are on vacation as long as it's included in the contract that signatures in that format are acceptable.You're trying to sell a co-op in a market that favors buyers, in what is historically one of the slowest times of the year, to a "rock solid" buyer that your broker procured.

Also, they probably didn't want the property showing a long listing period (the longer a property is listed for sale, the more buyers tend to wonder why) and this is the slowest time of year for buying so if you were going to take if off the market for a bit and relist, now would be the time.Could be something else.
