Just make sure the market you choose is economically divers and has a growing population.I an 59 years old and I found BP about 11 months ago and I am still deciding what to do while I medically recover.

If I wasn't in a college town, I might strive for something classier or more divers, but this works well.

Going to Hawaii to parasail, surf and SCUBA with an afternoon for househunting doesn't really count either.  

Beekeeping, running, jet ski, gardening, DIY home improvements, scuba, sailing.

Holding all the fishing gear and scuba equipment, can't let go of snowboarding stuff either.

I have been living in Asia running a scuba diving business for the past few years and will be returning to Salt Lake City in August and I am looking to start investing in real estate next year.I have to rebuild my credit as I have no history because of the past few years so my initial focus will be on that and getting a job that let's me save for a down payment.

If so then its time to diver deeper and see if its a potential deal.

We have a fairly divers economy, relatively affordable housing, and the area tends to perform well during recessions in comparison to other markets.I think we have a lot of folks look at our price points and think "how could I lose??"
