New Member in Salt Lake City

Hi everyone,

I've been exploring the site for a couple of weeks now and have found the information and community really interesting and inspiring. I have been living in Asia running a scuba diving business for the past few years and will be returning to Salt Lake City in August and I am looking to start investing in real estate next year.

I have to rebuild my credit as I have no history because of the past few years so my initial focus will be on that and getting a job that let's me save for a down payment. I hope to spend the next few months learning as much about the market, small multifamily properties (I am especially interested in househacking a duplex for my first property) and making connections with other investors in the Salt Lake City area once I arrive in the area.
