I'd cut the copper at the wall or in the wall/basement/attic and reconnect the pipe with a piece of pex and couple sharkbite elbows/couplings.

My "why": my kid is now 8-years old and I love being a work-from-home Dad (even pre-pandemic) these last 5 years, I've reconnected with a major passion (acting/writing/storytelling for the stage), my father passed away late last year, and my job with a large, stable IT company is largely just a job.

Not sure if it's costly to reconnect the utilities.

It is your house and if you want water, then you will have to pay DWP to re-connect. 

We've racked up $30 in late fees, a $290 electric deposit, and $625 gas deposit and $60 reconnect charge. 

Something to consider if you did what I did in trialing a bunch of different channel managers is whether one of the other channel managers you connected before is either (a) still connected through the AirBnB API or (b) was set to a specific booking window (3, 6, or 12 months out) and therefor had blocked off days in your AirBnB listing's calendar (which another channel manager would not override).You can test that by disconnecting Smoobu (as you appear to have already done), making the days available in Air directly, then reconnecting to your channel manager with your preferred booking window which should readjust available days).Hope this helps and good that you are seeing challenges in a vendor's support plan now versus later on when things get even busier and you are back against the wall.
