Hello,Long time lurker and consumer of real estate investing podcasts, books, and other information from BiggerPockets that just closed on my first investment property - a duplex house-hack.  

I have been listening to the podcast for a few months now and watching the "Real Estate for Rookies" YouTube show and I've been learning and also reading different books on real-estate investing.

I am based out of Vacaville, and I also flip homes in the surrounding area.

Begin by educating yourself through books like The House Hacking Strategy and podcasts like BiggerPockets, and join online communities for support.

I have listened to the BP Podcasts for a some time now, and thought I would pull the trigger on joining the community!

I would recommend spending your morning commute listening to BP podcast or BP daily podcasts for microlearning, grab a BP book that piques your interest and read a bit every night before bed.

My proposal is to do the following:1) Create an LLC in which my partner and I are both owners/operators2) Have the title of the property put into the name of the LLC via quitclaim deed3) Have the Operating Agreement of the LLC outline ownership based on shares ownership model.
