If there are any bare spots in the planter id move the surface dirt to check for old stumps.

Thanks for sharing. for the side, zero gravel or fill, just add some garden type planter or few plants on nice pots to fill the side. feels like the view may be you step out of the home on the back and you see that garage, it would be a nice touch and life added to it.

For 3 months holding cost you could have gone to Homegoods and gotten two matching ceramic planters and put either flowering plants or fake red blooming azalea bushes from hobby lobby

Take care of the house and maybe just put some big container planters with some cacti/succulents.2.

Now two years later, he is trying to claim deductions from security deposit as we moved out few weeks ago, for many random items, planters, broken key holder, spatula, spoons, etc. 

But managed to  finish up our agave planters at Agave Heights Apartments this week.

How about a nice planter box?

There were some plastic planter boxes on the ground and an open bag of soil on a deck box, a bottle of insecticide in the grass where I fell and 2 partially empty water bottles thanks to kids.

Here are my thoughts and questions on this:1) It would seem doing something in the grey or beige safe spectrum of colors would be wise, I did "Teepee Brown" on the last house, and would like try a light gray / greige color2) Grey seems like it might clash with the red brick, this brings me to 3)3) I am wondering whether or not to paint / cover the brick features shown in a white / stucco material - this will add a small amount of cost4) Note there is 3/4" Oak Floor underneath the carpet, which will reveal and fix up towards the end5) At first I considered trying to demolish the brick planter, but after more consideration it will be cheaper and easier to "roll with" the feature...

Although she loved the terraced planters, they did not want to put the time into them to keep them up.
