@Matthew Odou Yes, Puerto Rico is a US Territory, same currency no passports required, most are pleasantly surprised that its like a Hawaii in the Caribbean but the cost of living is less and real estate prices are like 2008-so now a there a lot of expats and investors of all ages taking advantage.

I think I had to provide copies of things like my passport and fingerprint, but it was pretty easy.

I also agree the Airport was amazing, but we had to show the passport FIVE or SIX times.

They offer a ton of great member benefits beyond the networking and education like a passport unlimited card (Google this), Home Depot discounts, Sherwin Williams bi-annual rebates, classes, weekend seminars/work shops and the list goes on.

Ask for copies of their SS numbers and passports for your records whenever they have them.

I never take anything with me to leave in the states, I never work on the property (though I can), I always have my passport out and I am polite to the officer (never hurts to be nice).Coming back, I either have nothing to declare or am well below the limits.
