Equity Lenders International, Inc. Anyone have any knowledge of?

Question

Has anyone had any interactions or knowledge of a company called Equity Lenders International, Inc? This is apparently a group of private investors and/or facilitators for pairing up available private money to worthy and profitable projects, like mine. I don't know anything about them, and they appear to operate out of Mableton, GA. I really would like to believe it is legit, but I have tried to google the company name, and NOTHING even comes up in any of the results where that name is mentioned. And there has just been a few other quick moments passing where I have had to question. I don't want to be overly cynical, but also have had my fair share of run-ins with scam artists lately.

If anyone at all could even give me any idea if they have heard of these people before, or had some interaction, I would greatly appreciate it!

1. The Loan

You should be able to find anyone on Google, especially a business that is promoting itself, so it is a bit fishy that you cannot.  I would ask them for references and their web address and company location.

There are scam artists out there, but typically it is not the guy parting with his money to create a loan for you, it is the borrower that has no intention to pay.

With due respect, @Shane Hetzel, you are located near Boston, why are you looking for money 1000 miles from home?  Sorry to be facetious, but will you be buying your flips sight-unseen online as well?

The lowest cost and safest money is local money and the easiest way to find local lenders is at a real estate club. You can easily find these using Meetup.com and there appear to be dozens in the Boston area (click on the link).

Shopping for loans like this online offers no assurance that these individuals are licensed in your area or even reside in this country.  A quick search here will turn up many threads from those who have been scammed by online lenders and none (that I could find) by those who met their potential lenders face-to-face, in advance, and developed a relationship.

I know many believe they can find everything they need online anonymously, but borrowing is a relationship-based business.  Meeting potential lenders eye-to-eye, perhaps in their office, and with references from other borrowers, is at least one assurance they are not scammers.  Checking licensing, looking their loans up, and maybe calling past borrowers listed on these documents, is another, and these are safe to do online.

Same response if I'm wrong, and you're really flipping homes in the Mableton, GA area.  I've flipped homes out of state and spent a lot of time traveling and meeting my resources in person.  Don't think that anyone offering you their money is any more honest than those that borrow.  That's just crazy.  If you do a search here, you'll see.

Yes the scammers have definitely found BP.. and BP is a very target rich environment for these folks. lots of newbies that don't know the score.. and a lot of dreamers who think they can just look up private lenders that they have no relationship with and get them to fund their deals  LOL... if you want money for deals HML is the way to go.. If you want private money you need to find those people on your own.. Private money lenders don't advertise and if they did then they are really just HML... no difference.

And for sure there is very few if any out of country lenders who play in this space.. why would they... The foreigners are un touchable and just run these scams..

But this is a testament to the power of BP. that these international folks would target people here.

I personally get no less than 3 to 5 spams a day from these " private lenders "  I just erase them

they contacted me too about a week ago, they dont use colloquial English so i am a little suspicious - referred to it as "loan facility", whatever!!!! I have been on BP and CI for just two months now and have been approached by at least 10 scammers.  be careful
