When we hit that tipping point, the role of the appraiser will be obsolete (at least for standard appraisals in the beginning, and more sophisticated and bespoke scenarios over time).

I actually thought the same thing when becoming a realtor as I come from a technical background namely (Cloud, Blockchain, and programming) but after becoming a realtor I realize quickly that technology would not make the real estate agent obsolete no time soon.I will say real estate agents that would like to continue to thrive would have to embrace some form of digital transformation but the idea the technology would remove the need for people in a people-based business is not going to happen until we get robots that look and act like humans ... lol

Both of which will cost a substantial amount of money - which funds, to my way of thinking, would be far better spent on installing high efficiency equipment which can be sidewall vented through PVC pipes - instead of on improving an obsolete chimney.If it were me I would hang a Navien condensing tankless boiler/water heater on the wall and use that for both purposes.
