Maybe that 150k offer was from that person and they couldn't close or they could be lying. 

About two months ago, a colleague at work had recommended one of Brandon Turner's books and I'd be lying if I didn't admit it was the catalyst for me to push myself into this world.

The tenant could of course be lying, but when we went through the property to introduce ourselves as the new property managers, they stated that they sent in their notice to the previous Landlord/Property Management team a few weeks ago that they would be moving out.
