If the dogs run away because he didn't properly kennel them knowing you were coming, call animal services.

If its priced higher as if it were a local residential property I would pass on it.Leasing to a business is different because the property you described could be used as a dog kennel, contractors yard or used car lot.

Also on the application I ask about animals, not pets, and ask the type, breed, age, how long they have had the animal, kept inside, kept outside, free roaming or kenneled or caged and is the animal fed live insects or animals if so, what are they fed (such as fish, crickets, rabbits, rats, mice, worms).

Then the negatives: Train tracks, outdoor gun ranges, air strips, school zones, kennels, flood zones, busy/noisy roads, industrial activity, proximity to odor-generating things like a landfill, paper mill, fish processing plant, etc.In other words, unless you have another reliable source of this kind of detail, USE A REALTOR.

When her bedroom must be done, then put the lockable knob on another room, maybe the bathroom then or a closet that kitties and valuable stuff could stay in for the day.Or you could ask her to let kitties stay at the kennel or a friends while you work for a week and she go to a friend or vacation, give her rent credit for that time so she has $ to pay for what she needs.

With median rent being $1355, this is only $15 dollars more, which I feel is worth it considering the area, building, and the in-close proximity of the college/hospital.
