The paper original then go to a temporary basket that is shredded every month (they are just kept for a few weeks in case or store return).It take almost the same time to scan and name the file than finding the proper paper folder to put it in.At the same time I am also imputing the data into my excel books and even put a hyperlink to the receipt file.The day when I am looking for a specific receipt, I am saving not only tens of minutes, but also a lot of aggravation as I can locate any receipt in a few seconds.

We have put together a spreadsheet for our area and hyperlinked SKU numbers to get real time pricing. 

I noticed that BiggerPockets had removed the post because I hyperlinked to my company (the very last word of a long post!).

Hi @Dianne Daraitis,You type the @ and then start spelling the person's name to hyperlink their name and notify of a response. 

Pro Tip: If the property owner has other properties, then their name will be highlighted in blue- in the form of a hyperlink.

First you say:"Adding (sic) last time I checked the IRS stated that purchases for items under $ 75 do not need a receipt"When I called you on this and said you are incorrect, you then post a hyperlink and say it has to do with travel expenses, but you still don't need a receipt.You do need receipts for expenses under $75 incurred in the operation of your property if you plan on taking them as deductions.
