For sure AI follow up, re-engagement, and appointment setting is a huge trend coming into the real estate industry across the board. 

I got into RE investing utilizing the same strategy as you're exploring.

CA RE Broker ( which I have) standard state MLO and NMLS  and Consumer finance license.

Plus you have no control when they do an exit, and you’re paying fees all over again to re enter into a new DST.

Since you are stating out in RE, I would say house hacking might be the way to go.

A great way to start is by attending RE events and joining a local investors association.

However, anything that impacts functionality like plumbing, HVAC, or safety issues should be handled before listing to avoid turning off potential renters/buyers.If you’re re planning to lease it, tenants will expect everything to be move-in ready before signing.

We’re still waiting for next steps on that one re: borrower repayment or foreclosure.
