I'm puzzled by the apparent discrepancy in regulations. 

It's probably best to take a step back and see if there's something more manageable and profitable rather than keep trying to work out this puzzle.

Hello, I'm very new to RE investing, although I've been a landlord for the past year...this is probably a very basic question, but nonetheless it puzzles me - what is the most correct way to calculate ROI for a rental unit that has been converted from a primary residence?

I’ve been trying to solve this puzzle for a while too and the issue I keep running into is more so not being able to claim Short Term Rental income until a year or two later.

I landed in Hendersonville, NC, thinking that Asheville was a bit of a puzzle for me to figure out and it would be a simpler buy in Hendo.

I am not making any snap judgements here, but how you purchase is a pretty significant piece of the puzzle.

Instead of focusing on what you want to learn, and hoping you will be a puzzle piece fit for learning that from someone else- chosen at random.

I look at him puzzled and say, "who the **** are you?"
