Hi Angus, A cash-out refinance is typically not considered a taxable event for businesses since the borrowed funds are regarded as liabilities owed to the lender.

If you do go the seller finance route, consider asking for a right of first refusal option in the event the seller ever decides to sell the note. 

Make sure you know when each of the major holidays and events are in Aspen to price accordingly.
