I have never done that and I would recommend against it if at all posible.

A commercial loan is an other posibility but terms are not as favorable.Great thread I hope more people get their LLC or not with a longer view with the what if's considered.

Use tans, darker grout as posible, use grout sealer to prevent stains, and use PORCELAIN tile just make sure your patient or keep eyes open for sales on it and store it away when under 2 an sf.

@Teri S. jajaja I hear you, but there is really a posibility of lowering the trash bill, it might not be worth it for one or two properties but some PM pay over 6-7k per month, I ve seen cases where simple changes can lower that to 2-3 thousand dollars.

However I can see that following your plan it would be posible to afford a STR for the time we would be there, paid with the cash produced from owning several properties in the USA.
