It's like cocaine,  Warren and I can afford to take a toot every now and then because we have the resources and have the life skills to not end up smoking ten rocks a day and breaking into the kids piggy bank to pay for the addiction.

I purchased in the North End years ago (like you, long distance from Vancouver) and had all kinds of problems with tenants and the PM (long story involving Mexico, cocaine, and a bunch of my money disappearing plus, as a bonus, a standoff with police that was bad enough that it made the national news at the time).

Mine took in stray dogs became a gross slob and never paid the rent  ..then he stole the tenants rent in the apartment above him too and admitted to using it to buy crack cocaine . 1500 dollars gone forever of my rent !
