Years ago, when I was just starting (and I didn’t know any better), I rented a room in my very first house to a tenant who, after a couple weeks, had her boyfriend practically living in the room with her.

I believe her boyfriend will be moving in so I will need to do a background check on him.

Can my boyfriend and I both sign the lease as landlords if he doesn't not co-own the property?

My boyfriend is the one who had the actual experience & his parents are ready to retire (they are the actual owners) they are willing to train me in the day to day to operations plus the business side of it .

Yours was very similar to mine in that I had to do some creative things financially in order to get into the game too:) My boyfriend is managing the rehab so I too feel blessed to have someone I can trust looking out for me.

Fortunately, my boyfriend was born and raised in Tempe and currently has a home in Scottsdale, as well as a few investment properties in Tempe.

I know that he is right as she is probably baiting us to make a mistake but why she is dragging out the eviction when she isn't living there is just beyond comprehension to me.She's now compiled an eviction on her record, her boyfriends and her 18 year old son....seems counter productive given that we offered a workout several times in a way that wouldn't leave an eviction on their record.Rick
