We also have a tenant who is a recovering alcoholic and formerly homeless who needed a solid place to get away from family and "friends" that were enabling past behavior.  

There are very few exceptions such as for products that are harmful to children (cigarettes, alcohol etc.).

I've paid special assessments for the roof (not covered by insurance because the former alcoholic that the former board hired threw a cinder block through it - voiding the warranty, etc).

Imagine a college type party house with music, lots of people, more than likely some alcohol etc...in a neighborhood with elderly people across the street and a generally quiet neighborhood.

Unless they are exceptional and have coverage for furniture damage and guest shenanigan's including liability for alcoholic related incidents and other guests Bulls__t.Respectfully,Marcello

NO entertainment business allowed (i.e. ax throwing, theater, bowling, music or alcohol) Desired Businesses: Pharmacies, Medical/ Retail Sales, Insurance, Engineering, Salon/Spa, Government Agencies, Tax/Accounting Firms, Attorney, etc. 

I’ve learned over the years to not think about much anytime I’ve had even one drink of alcohol.

Not that I'm avoiding alcohol for any specific reason, I just had this overwhelming feeling that not only could I find a better use of the cash, but that I'm just growing out of old habits, and now not sure what newer/better ones to replace them with. 

If you don't blow money on fancy cars, alcohol, eating out, name brand clothes and vacations, you can live just fine. 

I actively discourage this by pretending to be a barely functional alcoholic.
