Are they sending rent via ACH?

They have all graduated & are now interning in medicine & radiology.

You can try Innago, they charge $2 for ACH & 3% for credit cards.

Give them their deposit back and take your medicine.

One cool thing is that while ACH transactions take about 4 days to fully settle, rentec direct’s payment processor gives you next day credit for those funds.  

Have you come across a landlord / rent collection platform that does not charge fees to ACH your bank of choice?

Choose what type of rent payment method you want the tenant to use (e.g. online portal, ACH, checks, etc.).

Have the tenant use ACH or Zelle for deposits. 

ACH payments by their nature take a few days to know if it actually clears (you can know faster for credit card payments). 7-10 days I'm guessing is something like this:2-3 business days Tenant -> Zillow2-3 business days Zillow -> LandlordSo in summary, you'd almost surely know within a couple days if the tenant sends a bogus payment, even if you don't get it into your bank account until later.
