Plus selling the products is a form of industry - in my area, it is not unusual to go to a nursery and look at the tag on a plant to see that the origin is from the Pacific northwest.

You will run into the following: independent nurseries, people doing work on their yard and trying to unload their plants, really cheap potted plants from people who are unable to care for their plants anymore.
