Just another opinion You seemto have you're troop formed all you have to do is give them a mission.

And you do gain an appreciation of what its like for some of the guys trooping through to work on the house.

It happens all of the time when troops deploy.

Some of the assemblymen like Bloom from Santa monica want to put on hold so they can 'rally the troops' and really push strict and strong rent controls. 

One thing I always wanted to put together for our troops was a financial plan/goals course that is a little bit more in-depth than the boot/basic "this is what TSP is... now sign here and here".  

Those veterans that, unfortunately, fall into the trap of thinking it's normal for 30%+ of one's income to go towards car payments while on active duty (where this is perfectly normal), generally cannot qualify for mortgages until they realize that this is only normal in the military where you don't have to pay for housing, food, etc.I could do an entire rant on how/why the military is doing a disservice to the troops by allowing this irresponsible car behavior to be normalized among 18-21 year olds (& in far too many cases their junior to mid-level NCO leadership), but that wouldn't be helpful to OP.

@Dan Sheeks I taught the personal management merit badge at my old boy scout troop for a few years.

VA borrowers are probably an unintended casualty, as most Americans are proud to support our troops. 

We usually get a troop of speakers up here, now more than ever.
