Mediterranean Style or Traditional Style, 4 beds, 3 or 4 baths, smooth stucco finish for Mediterranean and stone and stucco (not smooth) for Traditional, a few arched windows the rest rectangular. 

At the time though we were in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea on a ship.

There  are some great stories on BP of  quick self made riches most requiring a lot of risk, but most of us take the tortoise approach buying one, then 2 or 3 a year and so forth. 

Its like the tortoise and hare.  

God forbid I mention this on BP but maybe the prudent use of leverage and the diligence to maintain a healthy pile of reserve cash would put the " tortoise " investor ahead of the " hare " investor if and when a correction occurs.

I did a property a year for 4 years when I was getting started and felt like a tortoise compared to others in this community.  

Well, in this case I'd rather be the tortoise than the hare.

He went with a builder Khan Construction, built a beautiful Mediterranean style home for closer to ~$200-250/ft.
