Some cities use city employees, some use third parties, some require exterior PoS only (Maple Heights is one of these), some do exterior and interior, while some require exterior and offer interior.  

In my area if you are putting up interior walls permit is not required.

In an ideal world the investor, a partner, an interior designer, or for larger investors maybe a project manager would be able to collaborate with the contractor(s) on these things.

It has the appearance of 3 separate buildings from Germantown Avenue but from the interior the buildings flows as one.

And natural wood interior walls for that cabin feel.. can you post a link to what you recommend a  cabin should look like I am just curious . 

I would definitely accept a $3,000 quote to paint my whole interior, especially if that included the cost of materials.

They missed the promised start date on the project by almost two months causing a cascading failure on dates since it was the roof, there were interior things, other dependencies that we couldn't do until the roof was finished. 

Since then I have dedicated most of my free time to study Wrights work, developing myself as 1st an Architectural Drafter, and now as a conduit of beautiful Architecture and interior/exterior design in the spirit and style of Frank Lloyd Wright.

We did floors, and multiple interior repairs ourselves while living there.
