I poured the concrete, framed, did the plumbing and electrical, windows and doors, drywall, mudding, paint and trim ,shingled the roof, installed the flooring, iv built custom cupboards and made this a completely built by me property paid in full.-3 bedroom, 1bath, bungalow no basement-1100 square feetTotal cost = $24,000 and counting (small things to finish, maybe $3000 depending on quality of material)currently rents for nothings (primary residence)-Projected rental income $1000 tenant pays utilities What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I am usually a fan of investing closer to where you live, but if your area is expensive, undesirable or has bad regulatory environment, I can see looking at another state.
