Also, like Prague, Krakow is a beautiful city that receive a lot of tourist traffic. 

Use some market analysis on crime areas, I use Trulia and www.crimereports.com then overlay that with the tourist areas or areas where there is strong rent comps.  

We didn't do a final walk through before closing so after it was all said and done we found out there were tourists living in the garden level unit and they weren't planning on moving out.

There's also the new "Lumberyard" performing arts studio that's supposed to bring tourists to the area.

The concept is amazing and when speaking with people in KC, the place was packed all the time both with tourists and locals.I haven't been to the Louisville malls in many years (like most people I suspect) and cannot imagine anything ever bringing that much positive traffic to that area. 

But being a Scrooge and having some investment capital I've been wondering about buying rental properties that I could use occasionally, but are otherwise rented out to tourists, not tenants.Are there services that will manage the rental of such properties?

In my opinion, there really is not much of a night life or tourist attraction in Tacoma WA except for the peace and tranquility that the greenery of Washington State and cool weather offer.
