Somebody is dreaming, lying, or just doesn't know better.

Two quick tips.1. if you want to address someone so they know did. type @ follow by there name (lie I did with your name). 

My background is in technology (first as a programmer and now as manager) and my wife's background is in finance and accounting.  

I have had possible tenants lie to me about all kinds of background stuff, but I really had these people pegged as coming back with flying colors.  

For example, if you reference this article, there are things going on in certain markets that make me feel like with the proper application of the technology, and with an eye towards aesthetics, alternative building methods don't have to remain that way for everyone.

I then subtract an assumed $20K for repairs (paint, carpet, seller's lies about repair costs, landscaping, etc.).  

As someone who is currently house hacking their second house, that is where my thoughts lie.  

In such a hot market, there lies great potential for wholesaling that many don't even think is possible.

None of the three met my criteria (one failing on credit, income AND background), one lied about income, and one couldn't prove income.  

If it seems too good to be true, then it is ... if it doesn't make sense, then it's a lie.
