@Daniel Wolcott Echoing the sentiment above, I'm glad that you've broadened your search to other areas.

You can still hold on to your memories since the house is sentimental for you without owning the house.

This is a numbers game and it is easy to get side tracked by sentimentality or other things. 

Thieves aren't honorable and they don't care how much you paid for an item or if it's a sentimental tool for someone (grandpa's hammer, etc.). 

Keep in mind that some features or amenities will have zero or even lower the value depending on what part of the country you live in, or the general sentiment about certain features that are less desirable given current market trends. 

The herds sentiment tends to be minimum work with ultra high pay for efforts and that is not how it is.  

We seem to share the same sentiment on the SCRA.

If you are not phased by the Bi Polar sentiments of the market and ride upswings and market drops without breaking a sweat, then you can allocate more of your portfolio to stock based mutual funds. 

If I recall correctly, he has turned more than one illegal wholesaler in to the state authorities.As to the other states, I have neither the time nor the desire to research them - but others who I trust have echoed my sentiments.
