Question - if you’ve contracted for a property you intend to “wholesale” - i.e. flip the contract - and that doesn’t pan out, do you exercise a clause enabling you to exit the deal, or do you close it in your name?  

Can you name some of these funds so I can do some more research on the topic?

Some common names you'll see thrown around a lot: Stessa, Apartments.com, RentRedi, TenantCloud, Innago, RentManager, Avail, Rentec Direct, Doorloop, etc.I recommend you search for each of those apps online and see what they offer, how much they charge, etc.

Some investors own in their personal name so that might be hard to tell if it's primary homeowner vs. investor.
